Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is seeking an Assistant Service Manager in North Powys. You will support the Service Manager to provide a safe, caring service for people we support, with shifts that may include sleep-ins and weekends.

You’ll lead the team, assess performance, and drive a person-centred approach to maximise independence. We value flexibility, driving capability, and a strong commitment to wellbeing and community living.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities in a social care setting.
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care or actively working towards.
• Flexible to work weekends and sleep-ins.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Willing to travel for meetings and training.

Responsabilités

• Work alongside the Service Manager to ensure a safe, caring service for the people we support and colleagues.
• Be visible in day-to-day operation of the service and support duties as required.
• Provide leadership and management to the team, monitoring performance, and conducting one-to-ones and appraisals.
• Hold team meetings and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Focus on achieving independence for the people we support with person-centred, flexible approaches.
