Cartrefi Cymru Co in Ewloe, Flintshire, is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our caring team. You’ll support the Service Manager, lead the team on shifts and help deliver person-centred care for people with learning disabilities.

The role includes 30 hours hands-on work, 7 hours admin, weekend shifts and sleep-ins. You’ll need Level 3 Health and Social Care, a full driving licence and willingness to travel, plus a caring nature and ability to build positive relationships.

Formación

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities in a social care setting.
• Level 3 Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Willingness to travel and use own car for transporting people we support.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Understanding of the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Service Manager in day-to-day running of the service.
• Provide a safe, caring and person-centred service to people we support.
• Lead the team on shifts, support one-to-ones, appraisals and meetings.
• Maintain high standards of care and practice and monitor performance.
