Job summary

The University of Birmingham School is seeking an Assistant SENDCo to support the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, ensuring they have the best possible outcomes.

The post involves assisting with daily SEND arrangements, revising EHCPs, and contributing to an Inclusion Team that upholds the school’s ethos of academic excellence and character education, with development opportunities and flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading provision for pupils with SEND and inclusion
• Undertake revisions of EHCPs
• Share in line management of Teaching Support Assistants
• Share expertise of current SEND policy and practice
