Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the Food & Beverage team in a beautifully restored castle. You’ll work evenings and weekends, supporting the F&B Operations Manager across breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner and functions up to 80 guests.

You will uphold Relais & Châteaux/Rosette standards, train staff, manage guest dietary needs, and contribute to rostering, recruitment and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B management at high-end properties.
• Knowledge of Relais & Châteaux or Rosette standards.
• Ability to manage menus and guest dietary needs.

Responsabilités

• Support the F&B Operations Manager in running the department (breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner and functions up to 80 people).
• Take accountability in the absence of the F&B Operations Manager.
• Answer queries about the menu and drinks, and make recommendations.
• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally.
• Assist with rotas, recruitment and staff management.
• Develop and train staff on hotel standards.
• Ensure financial and HR procedures are in place.
• Supervise department at all levels.
• Maintain health and safety and food safety procedures.
• Salary: 30,000/year plus service charge share (approx. 2–3K/year).
• Relais & Châteaux/ Rosette standards maintenance.
