Job summary

Titanic Hotel Belfast is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee dining operations and deliver exceptional guest and team experiences at our luxury hotel in Belfast.

You will lead, train and develop the restaurant team, manage staffing and payroll within budget, drive sales, and ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing laws. A passion for hospitality and strong leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage dining operations.
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service.
• Ensuring adequate staffing to cover the business. Deploy staff efficiently to ensure mis-en-place is ready for shifts.
• Manage, train and develop the team.
• Work within budgeted payroll guidelines and schedules.
• Drive sales to maximise budgeted revenue.
• Oversee manpower planning and recruitment.
• Maintain and improve food and beverage profits by monitoring wastage and breakages and implementing remedial actions.
• Stock control, cost control and cash control.
• Develop menus with Food and Beverage team.
• Incentivise team members to maximise sales and revenue.
• Carry out appraisals and reviews as per the company system.
• Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Attend and contribute to daily/weekly team meetings.
• Carry out Duty Management shifts as required.
• Adhere to TITANIC core values and regulatory requirements.
