Job summary

The Ivy Collection in London is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise a passionate team, maintain service standards during peak times, and contribute to a welcoming, high-quality dining environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in a similar role, strong English communication, and a natural warmth with guests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Assistant Restaurant Manager or equivalent role.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Strong team leadership and guest service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee floor operations in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Ensure service flow meets standards during busy periods.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Lead and supervise team members with feedback and appraisals.
• Uphold food safety and quality regulations at all times.

Key elements of your role as Assistant Restaurant Manager:

• Show confidence in managing floor operations in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• To ensure the efficient flow of service is met during service periods whilst adhering to our service standards.
• To provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times
• To manage all employees in line with the agreed skills and standards, giving regular feedback and appraisals.
• Adhere to and uphold all food safety and quality regulations.
