As Assistant Reception Manager you should have these Skills :

  • Reservation Systems : Proficiency in using reservation software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.Seven rooms experience is essential!
  • Data Entry : Ability to enter and maintain accurate guest information, including reservations and special request
  • Management experience : Experiencein managing a reception team
  • Team Collaboration : Willingness to work closely with waiters, sommelier, waiters, kitchen staff, and other front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.
  • Adaptability : Ability to adjust to changing circumstances, guest's flow, and staff needs.
  • Communication with Colleagues : Effective communication with other staff to coordinate seating and manage guest flow.
  • Warm Greeting : Ability to welcome guests with a friendly and courteous manner, creating a positive first impression.
  • Communication : Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with guests, answering questions, and providing information.
