The Role - Assistant Cost Manager

You will join a team of 19, working in a collaborative environment in a modern office.

You will handle projects mainly related to retail fit-outs and refurbishments, ranging from £50,000 to multi-million-pound works, on fast-paced projects.

Work primarily from the office with client visits about once a week.

Job Objectives

• Build professional relationships with clients
• Manage subcontractor tendering and cost reviews
• Monitor and report project costs accurately
• Manage cost variance, cash flow, and timely applications
• Collaborate with clients and contractors on project KPIs and objectives
• Negotiate and finalize final accounts

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have a construction qualification and at least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Cost Planner or Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Candidates from housing or commercial sectors are considered.
