An opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a Milton Keynes based Groundworks Business to operate within their commercial team. The client, with an annual turnover of £60m, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to help expand the business. The successful candidate will work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Duties:

• Optimising contract profitability
• Providing quotations to clients for variations
• Having a comprehensive understanding of Groundworks
• Preparing accurate monthly cost and value reports
• Performing all other daily tasks expected of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Motivated to learn and develop professionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
