Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services on MoD Corsham, Wiltshire, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the projects and facilities management team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works across a secure estate.

You will gain hands-on exposure to the full project lifecycle, working closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment and developing your career within quantity surveying.

Competenze

• Experience in QS/commercial, procurement or project support.
• Experience with NEC/JCT contracts is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Well organized with strong prioritisation.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.

ROLE: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours
LOCATION: MoD Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9ET
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our projects and facilities management team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works across a secure estate.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in commercial, procurement or project support who is looking to develop your career within quantity surveying. You will gain hands-on exposure to the full project lifecycle, working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment
Role Responsibilities

• Assess tender returns for accuracy, compliance and value for money,
• Prepare and issue tender enquiries,
• Draft and place subcontract orders with clear scope and terms,
• Support development of scopes, activity schedules and pricing templates,
• Assist with monthly cost reporting and forecasting,

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in a QS, commercial, procurement or project support role (Facilities Management, Construction or MoD experience desirable)
• Ideally, have experience working with NEC and JCT contracts,
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships,
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively,
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel an Word,
