Mitie is hiring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for MoD Corsham, Wiltshire. The role supports the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works on a secure estate, working with the projects and facilities management team.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to the full project lifecycle and collaborate with experienced professionals in a structured environment. The role requires a foundation in commercial, procurement or project support, with exposure to NEC/JCT contracts preferred.

Competenze

• Experience in a QS, commercial, procurement or project support role (Facilities Management, Construction or MoD experience desirable)
• NEC and JCT contracts experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building ability
• Well organised with ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Mansioni

• Assess tender returns for accuracy, compliance and value for money
• Prepare and issue tender enquiries
• Draft and place subcontract orders with clear scope and terms
• Support development of scopes, activity schedules and pricing templates

ROLE: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours

LOCATION: MoD Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9ET

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our projects and facilities management team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works across a secure estate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in commercial, procurement or project support who is looking to develop their career within quantity surveying. You will gain hands‑on exposure to the full project lifecycle, working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment

What we are looking for:
