Morgan Sindall Group is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Westminster. You will support day-to-day financial control, reporting and the commercial performance management of an RM contract.

Working with the lead Quantity Surveyor, you will assist with cash management, applications, certificates, invoicing and subcontract account administration. A Level 4 construction/management qualification and CSCS White (or working towards) are desirable.

Competenze

• Knowledge and understanding of measurement and valuation.
• Budgets and forecast management understanding.
• Experience with CVRs and final accounts.
• Awareness of cyclical and planned maintenance.

Mansioni

• Assist with day-to-day financial control, reporting and commercial performance on an RM contract.
• Support lead QS with cash management: applications, certification, invoicing and payments.
• Administer subcontract accounts and contribute to financial controls.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Permanent - Full Time - 40 Hours per week

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team based in our office at Westminster.

About the Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you willassistwith the day-to-day financial control,reportingand commercial performance management of aR&Mcontract mainly.

Within the role, you willassistthe lead Quantity Surveyor with cash management, includingtimelyapplication / certification / invoicing / payment and careful administration of subcontract accounts.

About You

We’re looking for candidates who have knowledge and understanding of measurement and valuation. You'll also have a good understanding of budgets and forecast management, CVR's and supplementary financial reports and final accounts. Knowledge of cyclical and planned maintenance is also a must, and experience of working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a R&M contract. We are also looking for a good level of competency in IT systems and packages.

Essential Qualifications:

Level 4 in Construction or Management or similar.

CSCS Card – White or working towards
