Job summary

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager to help run the hotel's restaurants and bar, ensuring guests receive top service and smooth operation across breakfast and other outlets.

You will work with the kitchen and front of house, plan rotas, supervise staff, and manage guest accounts to maximise satisfaction and revenue, while supporting the Cost Controller and delivering cost-efficient service.

Qualifications

• Flexible and able to work according to hotel demand.
• Able to organise other outlets when required.
• Knowledge of ala carte and buffet menus; training staff and planning rotas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the chef on covers and special breakfast arrangements.
• Plan use of areas for Breakfast when SW7 covers peak times.
• Requisition equipment, staffing and supervision for breakfast areas.
• Post charges to guest accounts and maximise sales while controlling costs.
• Maintain equipment stocks and advise Cost Controller when more is needed.
• Design rotas to ensure efficiency and minimise waste.

Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Assistant Outlet Manager this role includes to assist in the smooth running of the Restaurants and Bar to ensure that guests are given the best possible service.

About the Hotel

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is an impressive 4-star deluxe hotel in the heart of charming Kensington and a minutes' walk to Gloucester Road Underground station, allowing convenient access around London.

The hotel boasts 610 spacious guest rooms and Guests will be spoilt for choice with the array of dining facilities available, including the hugely popular Humphrey's Café & Bar, South West 7 and the Bombay Brasserie.

The hotel is also home to the Millennium Conference Centre which is the perfect place to host your event, with a variety of flexible meeting spaces, including 26 versatile function rooms covering a total of 1,600m2 and the capacity to accommodate up to 600 delegates. Requirements

Assistant Outlet Manager Key Responsibilities will include:

• Communication with the chef concerning covers and any special arrangements at peak times and locations.
• Planning the use of other areas for Breakfast when covers exceed the number judged the maximum possible in the SW7 restaurant
• The requisitioning of equipment, staffing and supervision for other breakfast areas.
• The correct posting of charges to guest accounts, or control of inclusive breakfast covers, to maximise sales and minimise food cost.
• To ensure stocks of equipment are kept up to par and to advise the Cost Controller if more is required.
• To ensure that the rotas are designed to ensure efficiency and minimise waste as much as possible..

Experience & Qualifications for Assistant Oulet Manager:

• Ability to be flexible and work according to the hotel demand
• Capacity to organise other outlets when required
• Knowledge of products in the ala carte menu and in the buffet, preparing weekly rotas and training for all the staff
• Skill in communicating well with guests meet their expectations, lead his team, organise schedules for the outlets
