Job summary

Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager to help run the Restaurants and Bar and ensure guests receive the best possible service.

Based at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington, you will coordinate breakfast areas, plan staffing, post charges, and lead the team to a high standard of guest care and sales.

Qualifications

• Ability to be flexible and work according to hotel demand.
• Capacity to organise other outlets when required.
• Knowledge of menu products (à la carte and buffet) and preparing weekly rotas and staff training.
• Strong communication with guests to meet expectations and lead the team.

Responsibilities

• Communication with the chef concerning covers and any special arrangements at peak times and locations.
• Planning the use of other areas for Breakfast when covers exceed the number judged the maximum possible in the SW7 restaurant.
• The requisitioning of equipment, staffing and supervision for other breakfast areas.
• The correct posting of charges to guest accounts, or control of inclusive breakfast covers, to maximise sales and minimise food cost.
• To ensure stocks of equipment are kept up to par and to advise the Cost Controller if more is required.
• To ensure that the rotas are designed to ensure efficiency and minimise waste as much as possible.
