Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking an Assistant Banqueting Manager to lead the food and beverage team and coordinate with departments to deliver service excellence under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Manager.

This role requires keen attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple events, with a focus on menu briefings, staff supervision, and quick adaptation to last-minute changes.

• Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
• Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
• Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.

Responsabilités

• Assist in ensuring function rooms are set up at least one hour before each event and according to the banquet order.
• Be present on the client’s arrival and help check their needs.
• Oversee, help and observe waiting staff to maintain standards at all times.
• Ensure that menu briefings and relevant function details are given to all casual staff before service.
• Liaise with the Operations Manager and Chef regarding all food-related issues, especially changes in numbers and times.
• Ensure attention to detail relating to the functions and report changes to the Event Planner.
• Remain in continuous contact with the organiser during an event and react quickly to changes.

Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Assistant Banqueting Manager this role includes to Assist in managing the overall day to day operation of the food and beverage team as well as to liaise with other departments to ensure the delivering of service excellence at all times as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager/General Manager. To be fully conversant with all Emergency and Security Procedures in the Hotel, and take charge of any situation that may arise.

Assistant Banqueting Manager Key Responsibilities will include:

• To assist in ensuring that function rooms are set up at least one hour before each event and according to the banquet order.
• To be present on the client’s arrival welcome and to help check what their needs are.

• To ensure that menu briefings and relevant function details are given to all casual staff before food service.

• To remain in continuous contact with the organiser during an event and react quickly to any changes which may occur.
