Join a leading hospital as the Radiology Department Manager. This role involves overseeing operational management, ensuring quality and financial targets are met, and supporting a large team. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills and experience in a healthcare setting.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Birmingham Women’s Hospital Radiology Department. The role will specifically support the Operations Manager and Clinical Leads to ensure that quality, activity, and financial targets are met.
The role involves working within a team of 120 staff, including Consultant Radiologists, Registrars, Clinical Managers, Sonographers, Radiographers, Operational/Service Managers, and Administrators.
You will also work closely with colleagues in Maternity, Neonates, and Gynaecology at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, as well as external providers, including private sector partners.
This role offers an opportunity to develop existing management and leadership skills to support senior operational management growth. Duties may be extended accordingly.
