Halfords is looking for an Assistant Manager to work with the Centre Manager, driving profitability and focusing on the customer journey. You’ll split time between the workshop with technicians and assisting with daily sales and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through effective management.
• Coaching and developing colleagues in the moment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with Level 2/3 LV maintenance or equivalent.
• Understanding of workshop operations, diagnostics and vehicle maintenance.
• Bring your own tools and use them in a busy workshop.
• Maintaining Health & Safety compliance and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IT proficient with willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Full, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the workshop to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
