Nottingham Community Housing Association Limited seeks an Assistant Manager (Projects) to lead and support a care and support service for vulnerable individuals in the East Midlands. You will supervise staff, monitor medication practices and ensure safe, person-centred care across the ESL Nuthall service.

The role involves rota management, staff development and upholding quality, health and safety standards while building strong relationships with service users and external partners.

Formación

• Experience working within a social care environment.
• Experience supervising or leading colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
• A person-centred approach and genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people.
• An understanding of the needs of people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Support the day-to-day management of the service and deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
• Provide supervision, guidance and support to colleagues, including managing performance and development.
• Oversee medication management and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist with staff rotas and arrange short-notice shift cover where required.
• Monitor training compliance and support continuous professional development.
• Manage sickness absence, conduct and performance matters.
• Visit colleagues in service settings to provide support, guidance and quality assurance.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families and external professionals.
• Respond to feedback and complaints to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support the implementation of quality, health and safety, safeguarding and compliance standards.
