Perthyn in Nottinghamshire is seeking an Assistant Support Manager to oversee daily community support for a male tenant, working within our learning disability services. You will lead a team of staff, ensure person-centred support, and promote independence.

This full-time role requires flexibility across days/nights/weekends, a full UK driving licence, and prior experience in learning disability or mental health services.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of experience in demanding learning disability or mental health services.
• Ability to work across a range of shifts including days, nights, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop team members and promote a person-centred culture.
• Rota management and effective day-to-day team leadership.
• Enable staff to support individuals to exercise choices and make decisions under the Mental Capacity Act.
