Job summary

St Austell Brewery is seeking an Assistant Manager for Rock Point in Lyme Regis. You will lead a team, deliver excellent guest experiences, and support the General Manager when needed. A focus on safety, standards, and staff development will be essential in this role.

You will be responsible for motivating the team, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining quality across front and back of house. The position offers opportunities for growth within the business and a strong emphasis on customer

Qualifications

Experience leading a hospitality team and maintaining service standards.
Strong people skills and ability to train and develop staff.
Proven ability to manage cash and admin tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

Step in for the General Manager when required and lead the team to maintain smooth operations.
Create a warm welcome for guests and ensure first impressions meet brand standards.
Monitor customer feedback and drive improvements to maintain high service levels.
Oversee front and back of house during peak times to support the team.
Oversee quality food production and support Kitchen Team.
Provide coaching and support to team members and develop staff for progression.
Maintain health and safety compliance and accurate administrative processes.
Act as a role model and support colleagues in development and performance.
