Job summary

Five Guys Bath is seeking an Assistant Manager to work with the General Manager, leading from the front on the line and in the dining area. You’ll coach teams, drive sales, protect profits, and ensure every guest leaves delighted by the Five Guys experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of management experience in a hospitality or QSR setting.
• Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction and positive reviews.
• Track record of coaching and developing teams.
• Strong understanding of cost control and profitability.
• Good knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Managers and Crew to deliver excellent customer service.
• Support the General Manager in achieving restaurant results and driving sales.
• Create a positive, engaging working environment aligned with Five Guys values.
• Handle customer feedback promptly and transparently to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Ensure shifts run smoothly and plan for long-term success and profitability.
• Take ownership of P&L, manage labour costs and inventory to hit targets.
