Grant Thornton UK is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Digital Tax Consulting Team, focusing on indirect tax transformation and e-invoicing projects. The role is client-facing, with responsibilities spanning design, requirements gathering, configuration, testing and go-live, while building strong client relationships.

You will work in a hybrid environment across London, Reading and Bristol, delivering global e-invoicing mandates and contributing to ERP and tax solution implementations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering tax technology or e-invoicing implementation projects in a consulting or in-house tax tech environment.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-reporting regimes across jurisdictions.
• Hands-on experience with implementing/integrating at least one e-invoicing or tax compliance platform.
• Ability to manage budgets and project risks while maintaining quality.
• Strong stakeholder management and client relationship building.

Aufgaben

• Support end-to-end delivery of e-invoicing projects from design to go-live.
• Collaborate with senior team and third-party technology providers.
• Interpret country-specific e-invoicing mandates and translate into delivery actions.
• Assist in managing engagement risk and ensuring regulatory quality standards.
• Support on proposals and bids for new e-invoicing opportunities.
• Help refine delivery methodology and develop reusable accelerators and tools.
