Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP seeks an Assistant Manager for Indirect tax transformation with a focus on e-invoicing. Location options include London, Reading or Bristol with a hybrid work pattern.

The role is in the Digital Tax Consulting Team and involves leading end-to-end e-invoicing engagements and client relationship building. You will deliver on mandates, work with ERP integrations, and help drive transformation across VAT processing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tax technology or e-invoicing implementation projects in a consulting, professional services, or in-house tax technology environment.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-reporting regimes across jurisdictions.
• Hands-on experience with implementing/integrating at least one e-invoicing or tax compliance platform.
• Ability to manage budget, risk and quality on projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of e-invoicing engagements from design through go-live.
• Support senior team in managing alliances with third party technology providers.
• Translate country-specific mandates into practical delivery actions for clients.
• Ensure engagement risk and quality in line with firm policies and external standards.
• Assist with new e-invoicing opportunities, proposals and bids.
• Help refine delivery methodology and build reusable accelerators and tools.
