Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an Associate Director in Digital Tax Consulting focusing on indirect tax transformation and e-invoicing. You will lead end-to-end delivery, shape solutions, and build strong client relationships across Tax, Finance and IT.

Based in London/Reading/Bristol with a hybrid model, you will coach teams, manage risk and contribute to business development while expanding global e-invoicing mandates and ERP integration initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience delivering tax technology or e-invoicing projects in a consulting, professional services, or in-house tax technology environment.
Deep knowledge of e-invoicing and e-reporting regimes in at least one major region.
Hands-on experience implementing/integrating an e-invoicing or tax compliance platform.
Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder technology engagements.
Strong stakeholder management.
Track record of business development – proposals, client relationships and follow-on opportunities.
People leadership experience across multiple concurrent engagements.
Understanding of engagement risk and regulatory expectations in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of e-invoicing projects across the full lifecycle.
Develop alliances with third-party technology providers.
Interpret country-specific mandates globally and translate into practical actions.
Act as senior point of contact with tax, finance and IT stakeholders.
Lead and coach project teams and develop senior staff.
Own engagement risk and ensure quality in line with firm standards.
Drive business development through proposals and bids.
Refine delivery methodology and build reusable accelerators and tools.
