Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Manager in Indirect Tax Transformation with a primary focus on e-invoicing projects. The role is client-facing across the UK, guiding end-to-end delivery from design through go-live while mentoring junior team members within the Digital Tax Consulting Team.

The position requires extensive e-invoicing experience, strong stakeholder leadership, and a track record of delivering complex tax technology engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tax technology or e-invoicing projects in a consulting, professional services, or in-house tax technology environment.
• Deep working knowledge of e-invoicing and e-reporting regimes in at least one major region (EU, Middle East, Latin America or Asia-Pacific).
• Hands-on experience implementing/integrating at least one e-invoicing or tax platform.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder technology engagements, managing budget, risk and quality without close supervision.
• Strong stakeholder management and people leadership in client-facing settings.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of e-invoicing engagements across the full project lifecycle (scope, budget, risk, quality).
• Develop and maintain alliances with third-party technology providers.
• Interpret country-specific e-invoicing mandates and translate into practical delivery actions for clients.
• Coach Senior Associates and Associates on projects through review and day-to-day guidance.
• Own engagement risk and quality by applying firm policies and maintaining documentation.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities and supporting proposals and bids.
