Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate Director for Indirect Tax Transformation (E-invoicing) to lead end-to-end delivery of global e-invoicing engagements from requirements through go-live. The role sits in the Digital Tax Consulting Team and involves client-facing work across multiple jurisdictions, coaching managers and engaging with CFOs and IT directors.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tax technology or e-invoicing implementations.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-reporting regimes in at least one major region.
• Hands-on experience implementing tax/e-invoicing platforms.
• Proven ability to lead complex technology engagements with budget, risk and quality management.
• Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
• Track record in business development and proposal writing.
• People leadership across multiple engagements.
• Understanding engagement risk and regulatory expectations in professional services.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of e-invoicing projects, managing scope, budget, risk and quality across the full project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain alliances with third-party technology providers.
• Interpret country-specific e-invoicing mandates globally and translate into practical delivery actions.
• Act as a senior point of contact with Tax, Finance and IT stakeholders.
• Lead and coach project teams across engagements.
• Own engagement risk and quality and ensure compliance with standards.
• Drive business development: identify opportunities, lead proposals and bids.
• Strengthen the wider practice: refine delivery methodology and support recruitment.
