Job summary

Greeneking is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in a busy Saltaire pub. You will lead on the floor, work hands-on during peak services and motivate the team to deliver excellent hospitality.

You'll focus on customer experience, drive sales, manage rotas and training, uphold brand standards and health and safety. If you have leadership in hospitality and a passion for people, this role offers real progression across our brands.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a busy pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, retail or similar fast-paced environment.
• Natural leader who can bring people with you and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
• Customer-focused with ability to create great experiences and encourage repeat visits.
• Confident and hands-on, able to make decisions during busy shifts and support the team.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who loves hospitality and knows how to lead people.

You’ll ideally have experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a busy pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, retail or similar fast-paced environment.

More importantly, you'll be:

• Customer focused - you care about creating great experiences and understand what makes customers come back.
• Commercially minded - you understand that great service and a successful business go hand in hand.
• Confident and hands-on - you're comfortable making decisions, managing a busy shift and supporting your team when things get hectic.
• Passionate about people - you'll enjoy coaching, developing and recognising your team.
• Previous hospitality management experience is great, but we're also interested in people from other fast-paced customer-focused environments who have the right attitude and leadership skills.
