Job summary

Lane7 is hiring an Assistant Manager for the St James Newcastle venue. You will help drive the site’s performance, shape culture and lead a strong leadership team to deliver exceptional guest experiences across gaming, food and beverage, events and other activities.

You’ll supervise shifts, enforce standards, and motivate staff to achieve sales and cost targets while maintaining a fun, guest-centred environment that aligns with Lane7’s brand and service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in leisure/hospitality or F&B sectors preferred.

As our business continues to expand andbring the full throttle best night out in one place experience. We’re now looking for an experienced Assistant Manager ready to help set the pace, lead from the front and drive this huge venue to its full potential.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you’ll have to support with the responsibility for the performance, culture, and success of the site. You’ll lead from the front, setting standards, building a strong leadership team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience across multiple revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints within the given parameters or elevate to the Deputy / General Manager, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into returning guests
• Managing shifts covering the entire venue
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales, minimise costs, beverage, supply and labour costs
• Actively participate in all areas of the operation from gaming, food, beverage, events, sport and labour whilst maintaining required standards of operation in daily activities
• Create an environment that is team focused and encourage a professional and motivating atmosphere for all team members

To be a success with Lane7, you’ll:

• Have got management experience in the leisure, hospitality, or F&B sector?
• Be an Assistant Manager able to lead by example and supervise a team throughout every daily activity.
• Be an Assistant Manager who canInspire and motivate your team to deliver outstanding guests experiences from the moment they step through the door
