Lane7, the UK's fastest growing independent boutique bowling destination, is recruiting an Assistant Manager for the Bullring venue in Birmingham. You will lead from the front, shape the guest experience across gaming, food and beverage, and drive performance with a strong leadership team.

You’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding service, managing shifts, and upholding brand standards while controlling costs and coaching your team to deliver memorable nights out.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest complaints within given parameters or escalate to Deputy/GM, turning dissatisfied guests into returning guests
• Manage shifts covering the entire venue
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and control costs
• Engage in all operation areas (gaming, food, beverage, events, sports) while maintaining standards
• Foster a team-focused environment with a professional, motivating atmosphere for all staff

As our business continues to expand andbring the full throttle best night out in one place experience. We’re now looking for an experienced Assistant Manager ready to help set the pace, lead from the front and drive this huge venue to its full potential.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you’ll have to support with the responsibility for the performance, culture, and success of the site. You’ll lead from the front, setting standards, building a strong leadership team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience across multiple revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints within the given parameters or escape to the Deputy / General Manager, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into returning guests
• Managing shifts covering the entire venue
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales, minimise costs, beverage, supply and labour costs
• Actively participate in all areas of the operation from gaming, food, beverage, events, sport and labour whilst maintaining required standards of operation in daily activities
• Create an environment that is team focused and encourage a professional and motivating atmosphere for all team members

To be a success with Lane7, you’ll:

• Have got management experience in the leisure, hospitality, or F&B sector?
• Be an Assistant Manager able to lead by example and supervise a team throughout every daily activity.
• Be an Assistant Manager who canInspire and motivate your team to deliver outstanding guests experiences from the moment they step through the door
• Be a great communicator
• Have a positive, can-do and problem-solving attitude no matter the task that faces you.
• Have the ability to create a sense of fun, For you the guests and the team

What We’ll Offer
