Maguro Group is looking for an Assistant Manager for Moida, a vibrant beauty retail space in Leeds. You will support the Store Manager, lead a passionate team, and provide excellent customer service. Ideal candidates have retail experience and a love for K-beauty.

We value team members who are enthusiastic about our products and are adaptable to various shifts, fostering a welcoming environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Manager or senior supervisor in beauty or lifestyle retail.
• Genuine enthusiasm for K-beauty and the Moida brand.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Lead the team during shifts, maintaining service standards.
• Assist with team training and performance development.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Monitor stock and visual merchandising.
• Deputize for the Store Manager as needed.

The Assistant Manager at Moida is a confident operator, team developer and genuine K‑beauty enthusiast who helps create an experience that customers love and come back to. You lead on shift, grow the team and bring real personality to one of London's most exciting beauty concepts.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations
• Leading the team on shift, maintaining Moida's standards of service, warmth and expertise
• Assisting with team training, product knowledge coaching and performance development
• Handling customer queries, feedback and complaints with care and professionalism
• Monitoring stock, replenishment and K‑beauty visual merchandising
• Deputising for the Store Manager as required
• Contributing to team briefings, product launches and in-store events

What we're looking for

• Experience as an Assistant Manager or senior supervisor in beauty or lifestyle retail
• Excellent customer service instincts and warm communication skills
• Genuine enthusiasm for K‑beauty, Korean culture and the Moida brand
• Commercially aware with experience in stock and retail operations
