Job summary

Pho Balham is seeking a cool and charismatic Assistant Manager to join our management team. You’ll be responsible for staff development, training, and rota scheduling while upholding Pho’s lively dining experience in Balham.

The role offers a base salary plus tron, paid biweekly with Wagestream options, free meals at work, and generous staff discounts for you and up to five friends. Excellent training starts on day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant management experience.
• Strong passion for food and guest service.
• Able to train staff, develop teams and manage rotas.
• Experience communicating with suppliers.
• Familiar with stock ordering systems such as Acquire.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff training and development within the restaurant.
• Assist in rota scheduling and daily management tasks.
• Support management in delivering excellent guest experience.

Salary offer of up to£39,400is made up of a base of £32,400 plus earnings received through tronc.

What Pho is looking for:

• Minimum x1 years’ Restaurant Management experience. Bar or restaurant, or a bit both
• Big passion for food! As part of our management team, you’ll be expected to learn everything about our fresh food.
• A people person ready to assist in staff training, development and rota scheduling
• Experience communicating with suppliers.
• Comfortable using different systems as part of your day-to-day. E.g. Acquire for stock ordering.
