Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and to motivate and develop a high-performing team. The role emphasizes guest experience, mentorship, and shared success across Premium Country Pubs.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and act as Duty Manager when needed.
• Train and motivate the team to deliver food, drink, and service to high standards.
• Model behaviour and develop team members to reach their potential.
• Lead the team to create moments that WOW guests and encourage repeat visits.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS ASSISTANT MANAGER YOU'LL

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.

• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
