Assistant Manager Role

An Assistant Manager at Greens Retail supports the Store Manager with overall store management. We seek individuals eager to progress quickly, with training to potentially become Store Managers within 3-6 months. We value proactive, ambitious individuals who strive to excel and contribute to making our stores among the best in the country. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing a team to deliver excellent customer service
• Creating a positive working environment
• Building community links and hosting local events
• Managing daily store operations to meet high standards
• Recruiting, mentoring, training staff, and planning shifts
• Driving store performance and business growth, meeting KPIs and preparing for the future
• Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency in compliance with health & safety regulations

Managers work a minimum of 40 hours per week over 5 days, including evenings and weekends, with flexible scheduling to meet store needs.

What do I need?

• Food retail experience (preferred)

Additionally, you should have a willingness to deliver, be passionate about retail, and possess a strong attention to detail.
