Job summary

Travelodge is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager in London Croydon Central to lead a hotel team, drive customer excellence and achieve brand standards. The role offers full-time or part-time hours and involves coaching staff, recruitment and ensuring food and beverage service aligns with brand expectations.

You will also focus on development plans, performance metrics and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while managing rosters and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hotel or frontline service team.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Hospitality or food & beverage experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver outstanding customer experience.
• Create personal development plans for team members.
• Recruit and induct new staff, ensuringW welcoming onboarding.
• Ensure food prepared and presented to brand standards (Bar Cafe hotels).
• Maximise food and beverage sales through cross-selling and upselling.
• Review customer feedback and implement improvement plans.
• Oversee housekeeping standards and maintenance reporting.
• Manage rosters, banking and health & safety compliance.
• Drive engagement through incentive schemes for team members.
