Springcare Care Homes Ltd is recruiting an organised cook to join our kitchen team in a caring environment. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will prepare and serve appetising, home-cooked meals while maintaining strict cleanliness and health-and-safety standards.
Experience in a care setting is advantageous but not essential; a Basic or Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate is required. The role offers permanent day contracts, with pension and wellbeing benefits.

Reporting to the Home Manager the successful applicant will be an organised and helpful leader in a busy kitchen environment. You will be responsible for organising, preparing, and serving appetising and freshly produced food, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety.
Key to your success in this role will be your experience within the food industry, along with the ability to be part of a strong team in the kitchen. Experience in a care setting would be an advantage but not essential.
Successful applicants would require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) (depending on role) and evidence of a right to work in the UK check.
