Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is sourcing an Assistant General Manager for a premium restaurant collection in the West Country. The role reports to the General Manager and focuses on leading daily operations, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and mentoring a high-performing team across front and back of house.

You will act as the General Manager’s deputy, taking full operational responsibility in their absence, with a strong emphasis on leadership, profitability, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in senior hospitality operations, ideally as Assistant General Manager.
• Proven ability to lead front and back of house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for labor, stock controls and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager.
• Drive exceptional guest experiences and mentor a high-performing team.
• Act as deputy to the General Manager and assume full operational responsibility in their absence.
• Oversee floor management, pre-service briefings, and ensure seamless service during all trading periods.
