Search Consultancy is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for one of its premium restaurant groups in Leeds. You will lead daily operations, drive guest service excellence, and balance hospitality with solid financial results.

You will manage a large team on a hands-on basis, sharing accountability for performance, training, and development while maintaining high standards across service and food.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager or in a similar senior restaurant role.
• Experience within a premium or high-volume restaurant group.
• Ability to lead and develop large teams.
• Hands-on management style with a strong presence on the floor.
• Commercial awareness including sales, labour costs and profitability.

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high service standards.
• Drive sales, profitability and efficiency with a focus on labour costs.

• Maintain standards across service, food quality, health and safety.
• Monitor performance against objectives and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead from the front during busy services and set high hospitality standards.
• Build strong internal relationships to support group-wide success.
