Premium Destination Restaurant in Sherborne, on the Somerset/Dorset border, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join its senior leadership team. You will help lead daily restaurant operations, drive guest experiences, and mentor a high‑performing team across front and back of house.

This pivotal role supports the General Manager, with strong opportunities for career progression within a Rosette‑standard, high‑end dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Operational leadership: oversee floor management, briefings, and service delivery.
• Team development: support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and succession planning.
• Commercial & financial ownership: monitor sales targets, labor, stock, and profitability.
• Compliance & excellence: maintain health and safety, fire safety, and regulatory standards.
