Job summary

Popeyes UK & I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. You will partner with the GM to drive people, profit, and guest experience, while modelling exceptional standards and a positive culture.

You’ll recruit and develop talent, manage schedules and costs, and ensure compliance with food safety and employment laws while delivering a warm, inclusive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in high-volume branded hospitality.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience.
• Support the GM in building plans and achieving performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with food safety, health & safety, and employment law.
• Set high standards, inspire the team, and foster an inclusive, welcoming environment.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent to build a strong future team.
• Maintain energy and service quality, and step in when the GM is away.
