Job summary

Popeyes UK&I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant operations in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will support the GM to drive sales, ensure top-tier food quality and service, and manage people and costs with a focus on guest satisfaction.

You will play a pivotal role in coaching teams, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering a welcoming, energetic dining environment for guests across the franchise network.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Proven ability to coach, train and have constructive conversations to improve results.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and controlling costs.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop future leaders.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support the GM in building a winning plan and smashing performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be the role model—set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire your team.
