Job summary

Puttshack is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Grays venue to share responsibility for daily operations alongside the General Manager. The AGM will deputize in the GM’s absence and act as a key liaison between restaurant, kitchen, guests and associates, with Head Office.

The role focuses on delivering outstanding guest service, coaching the team, managing P&L under supervision, and upholding brand standards. 45-hour week with performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager in high volume F&B.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and controls – assist the GM with planning to maximize financial opportunities.
• P&L – support sales and profit targets and monitor expenditures.
• Financial administration – assist with cash control and banking reconciliation.
• Stock – oversee stock levels and purchasing with GM.
• People – motivate, recruit and develop staff; ensure staffing levels.
• Guest relations – ensure outstanding guest care and resolution of issues.
• Health and Safety – uphold hygiene and safety standards.
