Puttshack UK is seeking a General Manager to lead the venue, focus on strategic growth, and drive operational excellence across all departments. You will manage revenue, service, F&B and events, ensuring financial targets and memorable guest experiences.

Location-based leadership requires strong people management, health and safety compliance, and a collaborative approach with the Operations Executive. Experience in hospitality management is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years at Assistant General Manager or General Manager level in hospitality.
• Must be located within 1 hour from Puttshack Lakeside.
• Leadership experience with proven team management and motivation.
• Operational management across front- and back-of-house for efficiency.
• Strong financial management: budgeting, forecasting, cost control.
• Delivers outstanding guest service and handles complaints effectively.
• Drives revenue growth and new business opportunities (events/partnerships).
• Experience recruiting, training, scheduling and building a positive team.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health & safety best practices.
• Vendor relations, inventory control and cost-effective procurement.
• Marketing strategies including digital/media to build loyalty.
• Strong decision-making in emergencies or operational challenges.

Responsabilités

• Strategy: develop a business plan aligned with financial targets and translate to dept targets.
• Strategy: collaborate on promotional plans to hit revenue targets.
• Strategy: partner with events, marketing, and commercial teams to grow bookings.
• Financial: manage forecasting, budgeting and payroll alignment with revenue.
• Service: oversee guest journey to ensure high satisfaction and brand alignment.
• Service: maintain floor presence as brand face and uphold standards.
• Process: manage stock, purchases, stock takes, and loss investigations.
• Process: ensure adherence to policies, procedures and health & safety.
• Process: monitor operations and respond to guest feedback.
• Process: maintain equipment, cleanliness and food safety procedures.
