Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. You’ll partner with the GM to drive guest experience, speed of service, and food quality, while coaching the team and ensuring standards.

You’ll bring proven GM or AGM experience in branded QSR, strong leadership, and a track record of hitting targets and managing costs. This is a stepping stone to future leadership with our Popeyes University learning platform.

Qualifications

• Branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant experience.
• Proven coaching, training, and performance improvement skills.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes’ standards.
• Support the GM in building a winning plan and achieving targets.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment laws.
• Set tone and inspire the team to maintain high standards.
• Create an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
• Recruit and develop top talent and pipeline future leaders.
• Maintain energy, service smoothness, and a culture that resonates with guests.
• Step in for the GM when needed and pursue personal development.
