Job summary

Wendy's UK is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, train and develop the team, and drive guest satisfaction. You will focus on staffing, scheduling, and coaching to build a high-performing 5-star crew. Travel to other locations may be required as part of this role.

Under the Restaurant General Manager, you’ll recruit talent, optimize schedules, and contribute to increasing store sales and profitability while maintaining Wendy's standards and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in food service or similar environment.
• At least 1 year in line operations and 1 year in management.
• Able to work 45-hour weeks and be flexible across days/parts.
• Willing to travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant under the Restaurant General Manager.
• Focus on staffing, training and scheduling to build a 5-star team.
• Provide coaching & development to empower team growth.
• Use effective scheduling to place the right people at the right times.
• Be the face of the restaurant to new hires and crew members; drive sales and profit goals.
