Job summary

Wendy's Leeds is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and drive performance. You will focus on staffing, training, and scheduling to build a strong, 5‑star team and deliver excellent guest experiences.

The role requires at least 1 year of line Operations experience and 1 year of management, with flexibility for a 45‑hour week across all shifts. Travel between locations may be required.

• Experience leading people in a fast‑paced food service environment.
• Minimum 1 year in line operations with demonstrated leadership.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Flexibility to work 45‑hour weeks across all day parts and days.

Responsibilities

• Under the leadership of the Restaurant General Manager, you will manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant.
• Focus specifically on staffing, training and scheduling, all of which will help build and retain a 5‑star team.
• Identify talent and empower your team to grow by providing coaching & development.
• Use effective scheduling to ensure your team is in the right place at the right time.
• Be the face of the restaurant to new hires, and crew members’ representatives.
• Contribute to increasing store sales and meeting profit goals.
