Duck & Waffle is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join the Front of House leadership team. You will oversee the restaurant, bar and lounge, delivering outstanding guest experiences and supporting overall operations.

The role requires a hands-on, energetic leader with a passion for hospitality. You will drive sales, manage budgets, mentor staff and ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years hospitality experience, including at least 4 years in a management role.
• Personal Licence holder mandatory.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, develop and motivate teams.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Knowledge of employment law, licensing regulations, health & safety, and fire safety requirements.
• Familiarity with company policies and ensuring team compliance.
• Certifications including Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness.

Your Responsibilities:
