ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Front of House Manager, this role oversees all areas of Front of House (Reception, Service One, Guest Relations and Concierge) and extends support to sub‑department leaders with managing the daily operation and working on projects to improve and enhance the guest experience. Having a thorough knowledge of all sub‑departments and working with leaders on a daily basis to attend to any operational challenges or personnel issues, you will play a key role as Assistant Front of House Manager, delivering exceptional personalised experiences for every guest.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing recruitment and continually evaluating the staffing needs of the department.
  • Monitoring incentives and payroll for the department.
  • Working on projects with the Front of House Manager to streamline the operation and improve the guest experience.
  • Acting as senior contact within the hotel for managing complaints and working closely with the Executive Office to resolve guest issues.
  • Representing the department at daily meetings and leading meetings within Front of House.
  • Assisting front of house in all areas when necessary to support the operation, assuming Duty Manager responsibilities.
