Job summary

The Celtic Collection is seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for The Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff. You will support the daily operation of our luxury F&B outlets, delivering memorable guest experiences.

Working alongside the Outlet Manager, you will lead and coach a team, ensure high service standards, manage rostering, food safety, and collaborate with chefs to create seamless service while driving departmental targets.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
• Proven track record in delivering guest-centric service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management and operation of the F&B outlet.
• Lead, coach and inspire a team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure service standards exceed guest expectations.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and team development initiatives.
• Manage staffing levels and assist with scheduling.
• Collaborate with chefs and other departments for seamless service.
• Ensure licensing, food safety, health & Safety and company standards.
• Monitor stock levels and contribute to cost control.
• Lead by example and foster a positive work environment.
