Assistant Estimator - Graduate Opportunity

Are you a recent graduate in Maths, Finance, or Construction (or about to graduate)? Do you have a head for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and the ambition to kickstart your career in the construction industry?

I'm recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with a leading national housebuilder who are looking to bring in an Assistant Estimator to join their Preconstruction team in Leeds. This is a brilliant role for someone who wants to learn the ropes, gain hands-on experience, and develop into a fully-fledged Estimator with clear progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the tendering process on exciting new build projects.
• Assisting with cost analysis, benchmarking, and maintaining accurate data.
• Inputting subcontractor bids and coordinating tender documents.
• Learning how to review, prepare, and support bids that help secure new projects.

Qualifications

• No prior estimating experience is required - just a relevant degree (Maths graduates especially encouraged to apply!).
• Confidence with Microsoft Excel/Word.
• A genuine enthusiasm for starting a career in construction.
• You must have full working rights within the UK for this role; no sponsorships offered for this role.
