Lenoir-Rhyne University seeks an Assistant Dean of Students for Residential Experience to lead our residential programs and culture. The role guides housing operations, student well-being and retention through a strategic, student-centered approach.

The position collaborates with academic and student support units to create vibrant, inclusive communities and a strong residential curriculum that supports leadership development and student success.

Qualificações

• Master's degree required with 3–5 years of leadership in residence life.
• Proven experience supervising professional staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership and supervision for Residence Life and housing operations.
• Develop and implement a residential experience strategy aligned with the university plan.
• Oversee housing operations, occupancy management and move-in/move-out processes.
• Lead development of a comprehensive residential curriculum to foster community and well-being.
• Mentor and evaluate professional Residence Life staff; foster collaboration and accountability.
• Collaborate with campus partners to integrate residential experience with student success.
• Use assessment data to guide strategic decisions and program improvements.
• Serve on on-call rotation to respond to emergencies and ensure safety.
